P&O Ferries Tourist NEW

, , , ,

The design for this website has undergone several iterations since the first wireframes were handed to me back in 2006. The latest release has just been launched and I am really happy with how it has all turned out. The biggest challenge has been to design a content driven website that supports multiple languages, whilst maintaining a strong brand identity. What looks great in English may not always look great …

P&O Ferries Freight NEW

, ,

My second project for P&O Ferries involved the redesign of their online freight booking application. Whilst maintaining its own separate identity, a similar look and feel to the tourist website was applied. The core functionality of this website is login protected and due to security reasons you will have to look at the designs contained within the image slider to view examples. Since this redesign we have seen an increase …

P&O Ferries Movie Player NEW

, , , , ,

This flash application is powered by a custom built CMS that allows marketing to upload content through an admin panel. The Actionscript loops through an XML document counting how many movies there are and assigning the content accordingly.

Because this is multi lingual a large amount of focus was applied to ensuring the design allowed for all the information to be displayed correctly. The design is based on the P&O …

P&O Ferries 360 Panoramic Viewer NEW

, , , , , ,

This is one of the first interactive applications I designed and developed for P&O Ferries. Being involved in the photo shoot and spending a few days on all the different ships was a great experience and gave me time to think about the best method for displaying the images.

Flash became my chosen technology as it was the one I felt the most comfortable with and would more than meet marketing’s …

Melanie Potro Bridal Couture NEW

Working very closely with the client I kept the design nice and simple, whilst ensuring everything was fully accessible with strong SEO. The original website was flash based with confused navigation and poor accessibility, but the new website has gone straight to the top of the various search engines and user feedback has been really positive.

Sail to Spain NEW

This marketing campaign was devised to generate more awareness of the north of Spain via our Portsmouth to Bilbao route. A combination of flash and html was used to showcase strong imagery of the area. A simple, but effective interactive map was created to allow the user to jump to any of the six regions directly.

DJP Portfolio V1

, , , ,

My original portfolio was created back in 2005 when I finished university. This was not the most accessible Flash website in the world, but served a purpose showcasing all my final year projects at that time. The mp3 player feeds off ID3 tags and buffers the songs quite nicely. You also have the option of changing the background, though I really did need to take better photographs.

Hunters Hill

, , , ,

This website was created for a client based in Cape Town, South Africa called Hunters Hill CC. The main background image can be adjusted using a panel found the right of the website. I chose to use flash for this site because it allowed me to add some style to what could of been a set of static textual web pages. I was also able to implement some HTML style …
