Working within a team of developers using a bespoke PHP framework we delivered valid, accessible, cross browser XHTML, CSS and JS/jQuery across all channels of this website. I have gained valuable experience being involved in multiple stages of the project life cycle from planning to completion, offering advice and liaising with JSP, CMS, Test and Content teams, ensuring all code remains compliant and matching requirements.

Incidental is a small organisation specialising in cross-disciplinary creative work. I was approached by the founder to recode the old website, make it cross browser compatible and turn it into a fully customisable CMS. This website is a custom CMS built using Wordpress. The design was excellently done by my very good friend Mr. Ben Watson and then handed over to me to build the HTML before finally converting to Wordpress templates. We are really pleased with the end result, the website looks clean and functions nicely in all tested browsers.

Marketing asked me to design/develop them a landing page that can be easily altered to suit the different promotions they run. It uses the image replacement technique that allows textual graphics to be displayed whilst remaining accessible.

This flash application is powered by a custom built CMS that allows marketing to upload content through an admin panel. The Actionscript loops through an XML document counting how many movies there are and assigning the content accordingly.

Because this is multi lingual a large amount of focus was applied to ensuring the design allowed for all the information to be displayed correctly. The design is based on the P&O …

This marketing campaign was devised to generate more awareness of the north of Spain via our Portsmouth to Bilbao route. A combination of flash and html was used to showcase strong imagery of the area. A simple, but effective interactive map was created to allow the user to jump to any of the six regions directly.

The design for this website has undergone several iterations since the first wireframes were handed to me back in 2006. The latest release has just been launched and I am really happy with how it has all turned out. The biggest challenge has been to design a content driven website that supports multiple languages, whilst maintaining a strong brand identity. Working very closely with the client I kept the design nice and simple, whilst ensuring everything was fully accessible with strong SEO. The original website was flash based with confused navigation and poor accessibility, but the new website has gone straight to the top of the various search engines and user feedback has been really positive.
